We are pleased to announce that starting in the 2026-2027 school year, we are further expanding our program with an international study trip to Shanghai , in collaboration with the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SHUTCM) , one of the world’s leading university institutions in the field of traditional Chinese medicine.
The study trip will take place from April 14 to 25, 2027 , with academic activities taking place over 9 working days (April 14–24).
The program will take place within the International Education College of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with morning clinical practice at the university hospital and afternoon professional lectures. Shanghai University is one of the most prestigious centers for traditional Chinese medicine education in China, with a strong clinical and research tradition and many years of experience in international education of healthcare professionals.
The program also includes a closing ceremony and a visit to the Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine on the Pudong campus.
The program includes:
- Clinical practice at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine University Hospital
- Differentiation of syndromes and development of therapeutic strategies in real clinical cases
- Acupuncture in the treatment of pain syndromes:
- headaches (various TCM syndromes),
- trigeminal neuralgia,
- cervical syndrome,
- lumbar syndrome
- Psychiatric disorders in TCM:
- neuroses,
- depression,
- insomnia
- Neurological disorders:
- facial nerve paresis
- Stroke (Wind Stroke):
- syndrome differentiation,
- therapeutic approaches in the acute and chronic phase
- Clinical discussions and case analysis
- Integration of modern and traditional therapeutic methods
- Visit to the Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Pudong Campus)
Like all our international study trips, this one will be reported to the Medical Association of Slovenia , which will assign the appropriate number of credit points.
The registration fee for the organization and professional guidance of the study trip is 1000 EUR .
Participants organize their own accommodation and air transportation.
