Medical cosmetic acupuncture – more than aesthetics
Cosmetic acupuncture in a medical context is not an aesthetic treatment in the classical sense.
It is a precise, anatomically and neurophysiologically based method that:
- stimulates microcirculation
- activates fibroblasts and collagen synthesis
- improves tissue tone and elasticity
- reduces facial muscle tension
- regulates the autonomic nervous system
- it works systemically, not just locally
Unlike invasive rejuvenation methods that act mechanically or chemically, medical acupuncture activates the body’s natural regenerative processes without disrupting anatomical structures.
The course program includes
- Theoretical basis of Korean medical cosmetic acupuncture
- Anatomy and functional topography of the face
- Neurovascular structures and safety protocols
- Precision puncturing techniques
- Integration of systemic and local therapy
- Clinical indications and contraindications
- Practical work under professional supervision
Certification
All participants will receive a certificate of completion of the course , after a short check of theoretical knowledge and practically adopted techniques. The course will be registered with the Medical Association of Slovenia for the purpose of awarding credit points for continuous professional development.
